Substrate depletion. The physical layer rebels.

Everything digital terminates in physical reality.

• Water consumption during fabrication
• Cooling infrastructure
• Maintenance labor

Human meaning systems evolved under scarcity. Scarcity provided:

Abundance removes orientation.

When everything is available, nothing is distinguished.

The pale horse represents death. Not dramatic collapse, but quiet exhaustion.
